Abbie Steinbacher is a children’s media consultant who specializes in curriculum development/review/research for educational preschool projects that span subject matter and media channels: mobile, animation, web, e-learning, print, classroom and events.
 
Due to her academic background, majoring in Psychology at Harvard University where she studied the developmental psychology behind how exercise contributes to self-esteem,  and her role as founder and CEO of My First Yoga; Abbie has had the opportunity to study educational multi-media from many different lenses allowing her to offer a unique perspective to clients.
 
The nature of the preschool content that Abbie has developed to date aspires to nurture the whole child, which lends to her expertise with a well rounded set of developmental skills: gross motor, fine motor, visual perception, auditory perception and school readiness. Abbie is known for thinking outside of the box in terms of how these important skills are taught and acquired.
 
She takes great care in forging valuable partnerships with academic experts, early education professionals, child focused organizations and vendors allowing her to stay abreast of the latest educational trends and developments. She maintains ongoing relationships with preschools and child friendly venues open to research and content testing opportunities.
 
While Abbie enjoys consulting on projects that span subjects matters, she is especially passionate about preschool media projects involving wellness, creative movement, athletics, fitness and yoga.
